Samantha DiMaio

Samantha is a clinical research professional with a passion for improving mental health outcomes for children and families. At the BRAVE Research Center she has spent years working alongside trauma-exposed youth and their caregivers, developing a deep appreciation for the resilience families demonstrate in the face of adversity. Her work sits at the intersection of research and direct clinical care — managing studies that explore how children recover from trauma while building meaningful relationships with the families who make that research possible. Samantha is committed to ensuring that mental health research is accessible and representative of the diverse communities it aims to serve. She is currently pursuing graduate training in clinical mental health counseling, with the goal of bridging her research background with direct clinical practice to better support the families in her community.
